What sets you apart from other doctors? I have always needed to understand physiology and structural mechanics. If I could understand how the heart works or the molecular structure of DNA, not only could I remember the data, but applied to contextual anatomy, I could know how structures work and how they must maintain their positioning in space and react to stresses and loads. With this innate knowledge I can see in 3-D. As I benefit from this knowledge, as a plastic surgeon I can trancend the simple mimicing cosmetic surgeon practice. I do many types of surgery, restoration and aesthetic in my field; hair, face, skin, breasts, every part of the body! But my favorite is reconstructive procedure- an operation on an area of the body that was missing or damaged for an acquired or congenital problem or from malignancy or from added years; For instance- a Nose, burned off, cleft palate,or breast- mastectomy.
